Your mission: Finish an incomplete Kirk/Spock WIP

🕓 Event Dates: Runs May 1 - June 30, 2026 right here on Dreamwidth

Rules:

🌟 Finish any incomplete Kirk/Spock fic that has been stalled for at least one full year*, and post all parts of it while the event is running. (* No updates or edits during that time. It's okay if you thought about it or jotted down a note. Just to be clear, it must be your WIP. You can't finish someone else's fic.)

🌟 An eligible fic can already be partially posted as long as there have been no meaningful updates to the text for at least one full year. (If you fixed an typo, that’s okay. If you added a chapter, pick another WIP.)

🌟 It's okay if it began life as a part of another event. We'd encourage you to credit them in your author's notes. If your fic was for a past T'hy'la Bang, definitely let us know!

🌟 You can finish and post as many completed WIPs as you can while the event is running. Start working any time, but posting/promo will not begin until May.

🌟 All versions of Kirk/Spock are welcome! They must be central to the work. Beyond that, this event does not have any content restrictions.

A Kirk/Spock Valentine's Day event

Twelve years after it first ran, we are excited to bring back the original 2014 version of Hey, Sweetheart! We even dug up the original promo graphic. For the past few years, Sweetheart has run as a multifandom event through ficwip, but we thought it would be perfect to revive this version for Dreamwidth.

💛 Dates: February 13, 14 & 15

💙 How to play: Create fic or art in which Jim Kirk calls Spock by the pet name “sweetheart.”

- The pet name must be used sincerely! And it must be used as a pet name.

- All Trek universes & all Kirk/Spock (or Kirk & Spock) combinations are welcome.

- As long as Kirk & Spock's relationship is central to your fic, their relationship can be platonic or romantic.

- No minimums or word caps. Create as many works as you'd like.

- Crossovers, fusions, and all AUs are welcome. We have no general content restrictions. Write what you like & tag honestly.

- You're welcome to participate in this version AND ficwip's simultaneously!

How did you come to the Kirk/Spock ship? What draws you to it?

For those of you who don't know us, the T'hy'la was born in 2013 and is still run by one of its original mods. The current team has worked together for several years. Some of you know us from ficwip!
